VIETNAMESE TRADITIONAL INSTRUMENTS WORKSHOP
Are you passionate about Vietnamese music? Come and discover our workshop led by Ho Thuy-Trang, an expert holding the State Diploma in Vietnamese traditional music—the only one of its kind in France to date.
This workshop, designed for an ensemble featuring all traditional Vietnamese instruments such as đàn tranh (zither), đàn bầu (monochord), đàn nhị (two-stringed fiddle), đàn tỳ bà (pear-shaped lute), đàn nguyệt (moon lute), sáo trúc (bamboo flute), and bộ gõ (percussions), is intended for advanced-level participants. It offers a true immersion into the richness of world music. This ambitious project invites each musician to contribute their skills to create a harmonious and dynamic ensemble, highlighting the distinctive sounds and rhythms of each traditional instrument.
You will also have the opportunity to take part in our performances and cultural events, sharing your passion and helping to spread Vietnamese music to a wider audience!

VIETNAMESE FOLK DANCE WORKSHOP
This workshop is open to everyone—adults and children aged 5 and up—whether you’re a complete beginner or a dance enthusiast with a passion for Vietnamese culture. No prior experience is required, just a desire to discover and learn!
Join our Vietnamese dance workshop and explore both culture and physical activity! The workshop is led by Phan Tuong Vi, an expert in traditional Vietnamese dances, and a graduate of the Saigon School of Dance.
During the workshop, you will:

Learn the steps and movements of Vietnamese folk dances while improving endurance, coordination, and flexibility.

VIETNAMESE FOLK SONG & CẢI LƯƠNG WORKSHOP
Dive into two of Vietnam’s most iconic musical forms—Vietnamese folk songs and cải lương—both celebrated for their cultural significance and recognized by UNESCO. This workshop is designed for Vietnamese speakers and international friends who speak the Vietnamese language, offering an authentic experience of traditional Vietnamese music by exploring its deep roots and mastering the passion and technique required to perform these styles.
In this workshop, you will:

Learn the basics of cải lương: Gain an understanding of the history and fundamentals of cải lương, focusing on its unique vocal techniques, rhythms, and theatrical interpretation.

Explore Vietnamese folk songs: Discover a range of traditional songs, from gentle folk ballads to lively melodies from both Southern and Northern Vietnam.
